I just got a notification if I renew my membership it will only cost $1 for the first year.... Sooo tempting... That said, I would then be tempted to spend hundreds on new cars/tracks.

Don't buy more cars that you're going to use in iRacing. Buy tracks first.

indeed, it is far easier to learn/be competitive faster with a new track than a new car.
